Easter

Easter was great! Gehry loved his Easter basket so much! He got a toy and baby food! Also, note his cute Easter outfit. I love it so much that he wears it just about every day.

We tried to get a nice picture of him in his Easter clothes. This was the best shot though :(

We visited family for dinner. Elliette got a big book of stickers and this is the aftermath. He actually liked it a lot more than it appears :)

Little Swimmer

During Spring Break, I took Gehry out to the pool to see how he liked it. I'm looking forward to mom-and-me swim classes this summer, so this was a test run! I think he liked it!

We got a smile out of him!
Chilling with the cousins (Elliette, Camryn, Clover, and Gehry)

More of Gehry

I love this boy.I love his eyes and his smile.

I love his concerned, crinkly forehead expression.

I love his bald spot and how he looks in the hats I put on him to hide his bald spot :)

I love him so much that I haven't done much of anything else lately! So here he is. Hopefully I'll find time to be productive and make dinner or something!

Fun to Read

I love blog surfing. I don't know why. It's just fun to check up on my friends and family, and I love all of your blogs. If you're looking for blogs to stalk, I'd like to recommend the following:

1. Rockstar Diaries (This is a friend of mine way back in the ballet days. Now she's some kind of famous for blogging. Way to go, Naomi. She's super upbeat and has lots of cute photos. I gotta be honest though, I don't get the clothes. I'm just not into fashion I guess because it doesn't make sense to me. Still, very fun to read if you've got a minute)

2. Newlywed Adventures and Musings of the Wife (I love Kourtney. She is hilarious. Somehow all of her non-adventures are more exciting than so many of my super adventures put together. She just has a way with words. She is clever, witty, and sarcastic. I'm totally hooked on her blog!)

3. Cookies and Cups (This might be my all time favorite blog. I check it everyday. Cookies, cakes, treats of all kinds. Please. I want to be just like Shelly when I grow up. She is seriously my hero.)

Go forth and read. And as a treat for stopping by, please enjoy this cute little guy sporting his skull and crossbones babylegs and the cozy, ear-flappy, skull hat I made him. What can I say? He's my muse!

The First 10 Weeks

First of all, the days and weeks fly by now! It seemed like everything dragged when I was pregnant, and now our baby is growing up so fast! Here are some of the highlights in Gehry's first 10 weeks:Gehry is a good little sleeper. He is wide awake and alert during the day, but we've gotten a lot of sleep at night. I really can't ask for more!

Gehry got to play with cousins at Thanksgiving. This is him compared to Tillie, who is only four months older than him. Don't worry though... he's catching up!

Gehry turned 1 month old!

He enjoyed lots and lots of football with Dad. (By the way, why is the Capital One Bowl Week really three weeks long? So misleading...)

He met Santa Claus! This was taken at the Gleason Christmas Eve party.

Christmas is so much fun with a kid--even a kid who has no idea what's going on.

He loves Mommy.

Lots of social smiles!

Blessing day!

Baby G in his cute little outfit that is neither a tuxedo nor a baby baker outfit!

Turned 2 months old! He was really more excited than it shows in the picture.

We learned he cries like Mom.

Playing "motorcyle" with Dad. Dad can make him laugh now. So can Glamma Gleason. But no giggles for Mom. Lame.

We love our happy boy!

Gehry's Photo Shoot

My cousin Katie is a budding photographer, so we had her come over and take a few pictures of Gehry. You can check them out here. Check out her site (katieperkesphotography.blogspot.com) too. I love the stuff she's done so far!

For now, here's Gehry:Man, I love this kid!

Our Little Rockstar

Our baby is here! It's been over a week, so it's about time I posted about him. I went into labor on Thursday (Nov 4) night. I got an epidural right away and slept through most of my "labor." At noon the next day (12:01 to be exact), we had our little guy! If he was 12 hours later, he would have been born on Arti's birthday, and I wouldn't have to go back to work until January. Oh, well! We'll take him anyway! We named him Gehry James Gleason. Gehry is for my grandpa Gary and Frank Gehry (Josh's favorite architect... I know, right? Who has a favorite architect?). Anyway, Josh has liked the name for years and the spelling kind of grew on me. James is Josh's middle name, and now it's Gehry's too.

Gehry is a little rockstar. Seriously. Here is a list:
1. Gehry calls the shots around our house. We jump whenever he wants something.
2. Gehry has rock-hair... or at least a baby mullet.
3. Gehry drinks all day, burps, spits up, and then passes out.

4. Gehry pulls all-nighters.
5. All the girls think Gehry is cute.
We are so excited to have him here!
